Way Less Reactive Workshop

Do you find yourself yelling more than you'd like? Do you find yourself using a tone of voice with your kids that instantly fills you with guilt? Being a mum is just so much more triggering than you ever imagined it would be. I get it! I'm a mum of three young girls myself.

Thankfully, before I became a mum I did a lot of work, professional and personal, on my mindset and inner child. And these two things in particular have helped me be way less reactive with my kids. It means I can respond calmly and intentionally, instead of reacting and then regretting it afterwards.

I know this is a really common struggle for mums, so I've put my knowledge into a simple and practical workshop, and I'm running it on Tuesday July 1st. I would absolutely love to have you there if responding calmly is something you'd like to do more of as a mum.

This may be an unpopular opinion…

..but I believe that yelling less, staying patient and understanding with your children, is not about parenting scripts.

I love Dr Becky as much as the next mum, but if I am losing my cool with my kids it's not because I forgot the exact words of the script I saw on Instagram the day before. It's because of what's going on internally for me in that moment.

It comes down to my mindset and my own personal triggers. And what triggers me as a parent can be very different to what triggers you as a parent, because we all have our own emotional baggage.

And It's that internal stuff - the mindset, the emotional baggage - that makes us snap. Makes us yell or change our tone of voice or say things we later regret.

In the workshop

  • Why your mindset is responsible for everything you do, and why that matters as a mum

  • Super simple and effective ways to shift your mindset, so that you can show up as the mum you want to be for your kids

  • All about the inner child, and why it matters so much in parenting

  • I will take the group through a short and powerful meditation to help you connect with your inner child

  • Once you've connected with your inner child, you will have a deeper understanding of your own major triggers as a parent

  • And we'll wrap it all up by learning to manage your triggers and your mindset so that you can be WAY less reactive

One thing I will never do is promote the idea of a “perfect" parent. It’s just not even possible. So when I share workshops and information like this, I will not promise that you won't yell ever again. I will not pretend that you will suddenly become a saint. We are human beings, and we all get triggered sometimes. This workshop will help you react way less, yell way less, and understand yourself and your triggers on a way deeper level. The information and transformations from this workshop have the potential to radically change your experience of motherhood - but it will not make you a “perfect" mum. Cause no one is!
